Caught Red-Handed!
We celebrated my nephew Jonathan’s birthday today.
This is my younger nephew Jayden, though, who snuck his way back into the kitchen while everyone else was playing Hungry Hungry Hippos.

Shining Girls
“The Shining” was on tonight. Definitely one of the best scariest movies out there. Especially those frackin’ twins!
“Come play with us, bitch.”
I am definitely going to have nightmares now.

Inspired by "I Love You But..."
Finally get to reveal (sorry Kelli Mac) what I had worked on over Christmas for some peep’s presents. Inspired by loveyoubut.com, I thought I could illustrate them, in similar styles, with that one reason that just makes you go… “Oh.”

January Art Walk
Man, was this a great Art Walk. Memorable, to say the least. The busiest I’ve ever been at one.
Had a piece in the Ordinary/Extraordinary Show in the new Downtown Library, where local artists interpreted stories written by Ms. Natalie Schoof’s Sixth Grade Class. Big thanks to Shane Douberly of Dripsblack for including me in the mix!
Also had a skatedeck in the old library...

Ordinary/Extraodinary Art Show
Finished up some artwork tonight for the Ordinary/Extraordinary Art Show coming up at this week’s Art Walk on the 3rd Floor of the Downtown Library. Short stories were created by 6th grade students and then were paired with 10 local artists to interpret. This is my interpretation of 3 scenes through the eyes of manga for a short story entitled “Air Forces.”
Happy Birthday 2009!
